Bütega

All the flavors of Golferenzo

Of all the extraordinary things we are doing in this village, one of the things we are most proud of is having reopened its traditional village shop after forty years.

Because a village cannot truly come back to life without the smell of fresh bread in the morning, cured meats sliced with care, fresh milk picked up on the way home, or a little everyday shopping that becomes an excuse to stop and have a chat.

A village cannot be reborn if it forgets its own story. The bottega is a heart that begins to beat again.

And to be a true bottega, it must offer the products of those who believe, as we do, in the revival of this land: producers who raise animals responsibly, work the soil with their own hands, respect the seasons and create beauty through what they do.

But our Bütega is more than that.

It is part osteria, part living room, part place for the soul. So beautiful that sometimes you simply want to stay. To sit at a table and watch the seasons change through its windows, or see the pumpkins ripening in the kitchen garden.

A place to stop — at last — for a glass of wine, to write poetry, or simply to listen to the stories food can tell: stories of land, roots and respect.
