Ca’ dal Laur
Laur is a plant that carries the scent of our roots.
Our grandmothers would gather its leaves into fragrant little bundles and add them to the slow-cooked meat used to make Sunday agnolotti. And when, as a child, you were feeling unwell, an infusion of bay leaves and lemon, together with a kiss on the forehead, seemed to be the answer to everything.
It is because of these happy memories that we named one of the homes of our albergo diffuso Ca’ dal Laur.
You will be enchanted by the softly faded colours of its ancient walls, its reclaimed terracotta floors and the gentle light filtering through its many windows.
This house has the rare ability to transport you to an almost forgotten time, when there was still time to step outside and gather aromatic herbs, and to slowly prepare food that was, in itself, another way of saying “I love you”.
